Urban Creatures - this is the name of a series of photos devoted to animals living in a city close to me. It is a tribute to the creatures who trusted humans enough to share their space with us.
You probably pass them often on a park path, or sometimes even on a busy street.
Let's stop for a moment to look into their eyes.
Recently, while walking, I encountered an elderly man who was hand-feeding birds. I decided to talk to him, and it turned out that he had been feeding birds here for years. He poured some sunflower seeds into my hand and soon the birds started flying to me. In the photo, I immortalized this man's hand - (yes, I know, his hands look surprisingly young!). Then I remembered the words of a Zen Buddhist monk and hermit, Ryōkan Taigu:

To enjoy life immensity, you do not need many things.

Take care and remember to be kind to yourself!
Yours Paulina Woźniczak
